Space Marines and bolt weapons go together like, well… nightmarish creations of a cruel and desperate galaxy-spanning military superpower. These weapons, more than any others, are associated with the Adeptus Astartes as closely as their signature power armour. Each projectile fired from a bolter is far greater than a simple bullet – they’re self-propelled missiles bearing an armour-piercing tip and a mass-reactive explosive charge. Basically, they punch through armour, and then detonate inside the target. Obviously they’re very deadly, and each one is hand-made, often decorated and inscribed with devotional phrases. A particularly skilled marksman may be granted an honourific bolt shell to adorn their armour, and this keychain is pretty close to what that might look like. We’re not going to say if this is the official size of an Adeptus Astartes bolt round (it’s not), so you can use it as a conversation starter with your mates to blow off steam after a heated game.
This collectible keychain from our partner, Starforged, is finished in electroplated brushed brass, sculpted with fine detail, an embossed Aquila, and inscribed with the High Gothic words Mortis and Furor.
